I'm back out of retirement temporarily.

When I took my leave from the site, I kept in touch with a couple of amazing people from here. I probably exchange messages with those couple of people more than I talk to most of my friends and family. I really hope they realise what a positive impact they've had on me.

I wouldn't have known that they exist if it wasn't for ATW. Due to that, I thought I'd run a competition to spread a bit of positivity and give back to the wonderful community here.

As its my birthday in a few weeks and to commerate the fantastic connections and friendships I have because of ATW, the competition is based on the topic of CELEBRATION.

The prize will be a minimum of 350KC and the winner will be decided by a random wheel spin
The winner will be announced on 27th July.

What you need to do:

Post a picture of something that means something to you based on a celebration. It could be an event, milestone, achievement or just the celebration of your first sale on ATW and what it meant to you.
Write a short message to describe the picture and what it meant to you.

For me, yesterday I had a message in the morning to tell me to stay safe and not to do any mad bike riding.
I did still go out on my bike in the afternoon but I took it steady (well, steadier than the normal high tempo, max effort ride). So my pic is me at the end of the ride to represent the celebration of friendship (and also not spontaneously combusting in the heat), knowing somebody cares about you and is thinking about you. I don't think anyone can ask for more (and I know I have a resting bitch face!)

Apologies to anyone who has messaged me in the past few days and I haven't replied. In my time on this site, I've had some fantastic interactions with some amazing sellers and you should all be proud of yourselves, the time, dedication and effort you put into this site and making buyers happy is second to none. However, over the past few weeks, I've been thinking (and in the words of the clash) Should I stay or should I go. This site definitely isn't the same as it used to be and over the past day, I think I have realised that it's time to go.

This morning, I received my 100th review. Thank you to all the amazing ladies I have worked with over my time here, most of the interactions I have had have been positive. I have had lots of fun along the way, learnt a lot about myself and what I want now has definitely changed since I first joined. I've made really good connections with a couple of sellers, those couple of people really don't know what a positive effect they have on me, they give me a lovely feeling and instantly make me smile when I get a message or comment from them. ❤️

Happy Friday you filthy lot, it's almost the weekend and it's going to be a hot one, drink plenty (not just alcohol) and as per the title of a 90s song, wear sunscreen. Hope whatever you do is amazing and most importantly, you enjoy yourselves.

However, I'm aware not everyone will be looking forward to the weekend. Things are tough for a lot of people at the moment, people are struggling financially, have stress and worry about daily life. People's mental health is so important (which also has an impact on physical health) and if you are struggling, talk to someone, whether that's friends, family, colleagues or a charity. It's not a weakness to ask for help, it's quite the opposite. The world isn't the nicest place right now so we all have to look out for each other ❤️

In your opinion, what is the best decade for UK music? For me, it has to be the 90s with bands like Utah Saints, The Prodigy, the whole of Britpop (it was Blur for me rather than Oasis), decent indie bands etc. It's probably also because I have some great memories of the 90s (leaving school, clubbing every weekend, losing my v) so associate those with the music of the time
